Hi,
maybe someone knows if there already exists a solver for the eikonal equation
mag(grad(u))=1
in OpenFOAM.
B.r., Martin.

Hi Martin,

I've recently started trying to implement this equation in order to be able to measure from patches along a given vector.

I've used the methods outlined in this paper. I have the solver compiling and running, however the solution is unstable, after 5 or 10 iterations it's already starting to diverge.

I'd be interested to hear if you ever made any progress in implementing the Eikonal in OpenFOAM.
