Default Patch order in 'boundary'

Hi all,

is it a problem if I modify the order of patches in the constant/polyMesh/boundary file? If I run checkMesh or renumberMesh afterwards, I'm getting errors...

I would NOT do this.
Although each patch has both startFace and nFaces, there are undoubtedly many sections of code that only use the startFace from the first patch and index through by using the nFaces from each patch.
