Hi foamers,
i try to track particles across a GGI interface but it seems that the particles escape at the GGI patch. Does anybody know if tracking across a GGI interface works "out of the box" in OpenFOAM 1.6-ext and how to set it up? Or do i have to modify the code to get this running. Best regards, Klaus |

Hi strakakl
I don't think the particles will be tracked over the GGI interface at the moment. However, I got a question. When you do your particle tracking, are you using the icoLagrangianFoam to track the particles or you have to modify to reading the dynamic mesh while it is tracking? Thanks |

sorry for the late reply, i was on vacation . I use a modified version of the transientSimpleDyMFoam solver.
Tracking across the ggi interface is not possible, i think the reason is that there is no explicit handling of ggi patches in the tracking algorithm. I try to find out how to handle the ggi patches but the code is a little bit tricky. best, Klaus |
