Picking boundary conditions for a mixing chamber
I want to model a mixing chamber with two inlets and two outlets. I created the mesh with blockMesh and it looks fine, however I am unable to come up with sensible boundary conditions.
I could use cyclic boundary conditions for each pair of inlet/outlet, but in that case it's not possible to have a redistribution of mass flows between each pair (m_in1 = m_out1, m_in2 = m_out2).
I don't want to use direct mapped patches because I cannot assume a fully developed flow at the "ports". However, the benefit of direct mapped patches is that I can prescribe the distribution of mass flows.
Can you suggest me suitable boundary conditions to look into?
