Hi,
has someone any hints to increase the convergence for meshes with very high aspect ratio cells ? I have generated my grid with ICEMCFD Hexa. I want to produce a mesh with y+=1. Best regards, Stephane |

Hello,
What do you mean by "very high aspect ratio cells" ? I also used ICEMCFD Hexa to generate a grid around a hydrofoil with a y+ = 1 on the foil. I had a max aspect ratio of more than 1000 and the solution showed good convergence (and accurate result) with k-omega SST, simpleFoam, OF 2.1.0. |

Would you please send me your mesh? yzf1215@gmail.com In airfoil calculation, my mesh always get AR around 10K
