mark_cfd is on a distinguished road
Hello,

is there a way to define an inlet velocity profile analytically in openfoam? Failing that, can someone provide a simple guide for how to do it with data? I know that the pitzDailyExptInlet tutorial does this with a list of points but I'd like to know how to do it without just copying and tweaking the existing example.

For reference I've got a 2D model of compressible, laminar flow around a cylinder in a channel. I'm using sonicFoam.

Cheers,
Mark
