Hello,
Does anyone know how to calculate an averaged value of any field in OpenFoam/paraFoam ? I mean if I want to calculate total value of mass generation in the whole domain then how I can do that in OF or in ParaFoam. With regards, GP |

If you simulate rho and the mass fractions for every time step, you could simply use the calculator to calculate "rho*<species>" and use "integrateVariables" to get the total mass of this species in the system. Comparing this value at different points of time should give information on the species production.
