Dear OpenFOAMers,

I have recently been working on a problem involving heat conduction between solids (e.g. two metal blocks in contact with one another). I have been able to successfully specify different thermal properties for the individual solids using chtMultiRegionFoam.

Now I would like to be able to control the heat transfer across the solid-solid interface, ideally by specifying a coefficient just on the interface. My question is: Is there a way to specify a heat transfer coefficient for a patch (i.e. the solid-solid interface) using chtMultiRegionFoam (or another existing solver in the OpenFOAM family), or will I have to implement something like this myself?

Thanks,

Brent.
