difference between cyclic and cyclicAMI?

Default difference between cyclic and cyclicAMI?

Dear All,
May I know difference between cyclic and cyclicAMI? Does cyclicAMI patch as accurate as cyclic?I find with implementation of cyclicAMI openfoam gives different result than without AMI implementation. Here AMI stands for Arbitrary Meshing Interface.
