Hello world,

what is the exact difference between the initial and the final residual computed in each of the iterations ? Which values does open foam use in each iteration for the calculations ? (Assuming we solve for U)

Thanks

Lieven will become famous soon enough
Have a look at 4.5.1.1 of http://http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/fvSolution.php . That should answer your question.

Cheers,

Lieven
