Does O.F support hybrid grids?

Simple case, i have an unstructured, hybrid mesh to work on. I solve it with icoFoam and no matter the BCs or the time step or nu,Courant number reaches e+80 at the tenth time step it crashes.Am i doing something terribly wrong or it just can't handle the hybrid mesh?

What is the output of the checkMesh utility. Is the mesh OK? OpenFOAM can handle arbitrarily shaped domains and polyhydral and unstructured meshes in general. So there is either something terribly wrong with your mesh, or the case set-up is wrong, there is no way to tell for the people here without more details.

Well, checkMesh says "Faces not in upper triangular order" and everything else OK. Could this be the reason?

run renumberMesh and see what happens - maybe you have multiple faces between two cells.
