Dear experts,

I am trying a LES calculation in a channel with heat transfer.
The solver I am using is buoyantPimpleFoam. Cyclic boundary
conditions are set in the streamwise, spanwise direction. The
pressure drop is given by a fanPressure type boundary condition
set on p_rgh (cyclic conditions are set for p). After successfully
computing rho, Ux, Uy, Uz, h for the first time step the solver
experieces the following FATAL ERROR instead of correctly computing p_rgh

request for volScalarField none from objectRegistry region0 failed

Do you have an idea of why "volScalarField none" is mentioned? Thanks in advance.

Your post was old but I am facing the same issue and I wonder if you were able to solve your problem.
I am using reactingFoam which is also a solver using heat transfer.
I hope to hearing from you
