problems with PlichErdman breakup model

hallo everyone,

i have a problem with the PilchErdman breakup model. I modified the PilchErdmanCoeffs

solveOscillationEq false --> true
B1 0,375 --> 0,01; 0,2;1;2
B2 0,236 --> 0,01; 0,2;1;2

to validate a spray model but the droplets and the spray doen´t varry.

Does anybody know how to influence the coeffs?

Are you getting any droplet breakup at all? Is your Weber number in the range that could cause breakup?

I Think. Before I calculated by using the ReitzKHRT model. Then I changed to PilchErdmann. I red it should be better for spray modelling. Here are some information about the droplets:

C7H16
dropletsize: d = 0 ...2e-4 m
velocity: u = 20 ... 40 m/s

--> there must be any droplet breakup!?

Is there anything to activate if using PilchErdmann in addition to the selection of the model? Do you know something about the value of the coeffs?

Yeah, that should definitely undergo breakup and it looks like your input is correct. Perhaps this bug could be the problem?

This should be the reason. The first one is the source code of my opanfoam release. Thank You!!! Do you know in which folder I have to do "wmake" to compile?

The PilchErdman model is in OpenFOAM-2.x.x/src/lagrangian/spray/submodels/BreakupModel/PilchErdman , so as long as you use one of the Allwmake scripts above that directory, it will recompile the contents of that directory. I would run Allwmake from /src/lagrangian.

Thanks! I will try it and give a feedback!

It works!!! Thank you!
