Launder Gibson RSTM turbulence model

Hello,

I am currently in internship and my goal at the start of internship is to test the performance of the Launder Gibson RSTM turbulence model on a jet impacting a wall in OpenFoam.

However, I am confronted with a problem, I cann't find the value of R to the boundary and thus complete my file R contained in the folder 0.

Anyone know it the means of determining the values of its vector?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you find the initial conditions for the turbulence properties? I would like to use the Lauder-Gibson model but don't know what I have to set in the /0 file.

No and I don't work more with this model. Sorry

Run k-epsilon model for 100 iterations, then use the "R" utility by typing R into terminal (from your project directory). Change the RAS model to the Launder Gibson one and continue running.

Hi Charles,

and how would you do it for the inlet and outlet boundary conditions for R?
