Default how can treat with interface intering from gambit?

i have an interface thats between two parts of mesh.how can behave with it so that i can calculate the mass flux through it?
What will be its type?

what should change to OF recognize a interface(a patch between two sets of meshes)?

I think it doesn't need to name this part in gambit
just make your mesh and after running the mesh in fluent
after iteration and solving the problem go to:
fluent> surface tab> define a line for 2D model or a plane for 3D model
at the place of your interface
then
in plot tab> xy plot
choose the line or surface that you make in fluent
and see the result

thanks.i want to use interior patch in openfoam not fluent.
I have a doubt how to specify it in OF when i enter mesh from gambit.
I want to calculate mass flux through this patch(that is named interior in gambit)

I don't think you need a patch, just define a faceZone (be sure to orient it) then do your calculation inside the solver, with function objects or swak4Foam.

How can define a face zone?is it defined in blockMeshDict?
