Explanation of airFoil2D tutorial in OpenFOAM
 

Dear OpenFOAM users,

I am new to OpenFOAM and new to CFD as well. My phd work in based on Vertical axis wind turbines for which I may need to model airfoils in OpenFOAM for CFD analysis.

I have started learning OpenFOAM through its user guide and completed almost 45 pages and have got some idea. Now I want to head straight to airfoil's to be more specific to my topic and avoid wasting time on general topics. What is the best way to go about learning modeling airfoil's in OpenFOAM. Is there any guide which explains step by step everything that was done to make the Airfoil2D tutorial in OpenFOAM (similar to what is explained in depth about the cavity tutorial in OpenFOAM user guide) ???

Any help would be appreciated.
