divSchemes in interfoam

Hi to all,
I'm new in the use of OpenFoam and i have two question about the scheme used in interfoam.
1)why only the divergence is discretized with a TVD scheme?
2)why the DamBreak tutorials choose two different limiter function for div(rho*phi,U) e div(phi, alpha) ?

thank to all

Hi Giack, my humble contribution,

Since in temporal and laplacian schemes the linear interpolation is enough stable and accurate (2nd order). The necessity of TVD schemes appears due to the advection.

Each div term is different in general. For example you could have a flow where the velocity is almost a fixed field, so that, you could even use the linear scheme, meanwhile the void fraction is changing and stabilization is required, then a TVD scheme is needed.
