Hi,

If I wanted to solve a scalarTransport with time-varying velocity field that is input by the user and not really solved for, then what is the best way to do this?
The input velocity field could be of the form u_x = A + B * cos (t) where A, B are constants and t is time.

My next question is, if I create time-folders in my case directory and generate the U file for each of those time-directories based on my time-varying function, and then put the U block and "createPhi" section from the createFields file into the loop in the main code, can I then get scalarTransportFoam to use a time-varying velocity field? Im assuming that since the reading of U is in the loop, it would read the time-folder in every time-step for the U file instead it and use the data in that?

Thanks
