Divergence with LTSInterFoam

Hello,
I'm having trouble with making the solver LTSInterFoam converge. I have tried to decrease maxCo, maxCoAlpha and rDeltaTSmoothingCoeff which I think should make the solver more stable, but no luck.

Does anyone have any general ideas about how to make the solver more stable?
Also, is there an alternative way to perform steady state VOF in OpenFOAM?

Best regards, simt

The ddtscheme SLTS seems more stable compared to localEuler, has anyone experienced this as well?
