Hello all,

It seems that OpenFOAM 2.2 does not support LES calculations for the chtMultiRegionFoam solver.

Any idea of how to include LES in the solver?

Thanks for the help =)

Hello Ignacio,

I guess you should modify the solver at Make > options and include the LES turbulence model in the EXE_LIBS section.

But you also need to include the boundary conditions, like muSgsUSpalginWallFunction. I don't know how can that be included.

Does anybody know how to do it?

Hope this helps

Well, for the boundary conditions you can use the same ones as in the RANS model:

Hi Ignacio

Can you be more specific about how to manage to run the LES in chtMultiRegionFoam in OF2.2.x?
Do you know how it works in OF2.1.x?

David brings some lights, but i don't understand ver well.

Thanks
