wall heat flux dsmcfoam
 

Hi ppl ,

I tried running the tutorials of dsmcfoam .

I wanted to obtain the plot of wall heat flux and and heat transfer coefficient for the tutorial wedge case

I gave the wall interaction model as "Maxwellian Thermal" .

in paraview , when i gave the surface plot as "wall heat flux " , it did give me a constant blue surface , indicating no value or free stream value .

What is the problem i am encountering ?

It will be of great help if someone could help me with this .

maybe wall heat flux can be seen in wall patch only,so,if you change the direction ,maybe you can see it

localMn, localMfp, localCf, localCh, wall heat flux are missing.
 

Previously there are more variable as results from dsmcfoam such as localMn, localMfp, localCf, localCh etc. But now it seems to be missing.

Any suggestions ?
