Hello,

Could anyone help me find out where combustion properties are located in fireFoam? I am using oppositeburningpanels and can see that C3H8 has been used, and I do not seem to be able to find how they calculate or specify the heat released by combustion.
I also found a properties section for C3H8 in doxygen, it specifies rho, cp, and other things but not heat released.

Thanks

Cp combustion seems to be specified with cp polynomial coefficients in thermo.compressiblegas, then using enthalpy of different products before and after the reaction to get heat released.

Ok, so I have now found that varliable dQ specifies the heat released (in J), however I need to try and sum this value over each cell in the volume to get the total heat release rate.
Does anyone know how to do this in paraview? I have tried integrate variables, but that seems to only give me values for a single cell.
Exporting the grid to excel and summing all dQ values works, but it is quite a slow process.

Thanks,

Toby
