Dear all,

I'm currently trying to get chtMultiRegionFoam working to simulate the cooling of a hot square beam by air. The configuration is the following:
  • a square-cross-section beam is inserted into a 2D canal filled with air
  • flow enters the canal at a given pressure, velocity and temperature
I set up a chtMultiRegionFoam case, and I paid attention to the boundary and initial conditions. The solver runs well, but the results are intriguing: the pressure field remains uniform, unlike in the PlaneWall2D tutorial for chtMultiRagionSimpleFoam.

Do you people have an idea of what it might come from?

Cheers,

Vincent

Answering to myself: pressure actually happens not to be uniform. I had just chosen a case such that it ranged around 1e5 Pa +- 1e-5. This couldn't be displayed by Paraview, even with proper output precision.
