Hi everybody,
I have a problem with the BuoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam solver. I am modelling a car cockpit and I want to simulate the greenhouse effect using the DO model. I tried with this boundary condition: manikin patches ----> heat flux 80 W/m^2, absorptivity=0.8 windows ----> convective heat transfer, absorptivity=0.12, transmissivity=0.8, solar transmissivity=0.8 solar load ----> 800 W/m^2, direction (0,0,-1) This setup results in very high temperature in the head of the manikin (i.e. where the sun hit much more the manikin). If the manikin is considered adiabatic or if there is no solar load, the temperature are allowable, but if I consider both the heat flux and the sun load I have high temperature. Any suggestion to correctly model the greenhouse effect? What about using chtMultiPhaseSimpleFoam? Thanks a lot Kfoam |
