RhoCentralFoam: supersonic flat plate (bad temperature)

Hi, I'm trying to validate rhoCentralFoam by solving the supersonic flat plate. I impose zero gradient for temperature at the wall (adiabatic wall). In agreement with theory, wall temperature for r=1 (recovery factor) should be the free stream total temperature. I solve the case for Ma=2.0 thus the wall temperature should be 518.67 K, but predicted wall temperature with rhoCentralFoam are 391.49K (%error 24.5). Any suggestion is welcome.
I'm using vanLeer function for reconstruction and for gradients
least squares.

Thanks in advance

Hi Felipe,

I understand that this is an old thread, but I was wondering if you found a solution?
I am currently facing the same problem. I have a reference case from CFX. The rhoCentralFoam solution perfectly represents the pressure, but the temperature is under predicted.

Cheers
