Is it possible to use 'kineticTheoryProperties' with multiphaseEulerFoam? Or is the use of 'kineticTheoryProperties' just limited to 'twoPhaseEulerFoam'??

I am simulating flow with two fluids and one solid phase. Although the multiPhaseEulerFoam seem to work fine. I am interested in observing particle-particle and particle-wall interactions especially when particles stick together to form a larger solid body.

Please also advise if there is alternate way to do this.

I will answer my own question. The 'kinetic theory' is not applicable to multiphaseEulerfoam. I think I will have to look for something else for the particle-fluid type of multiphase model/solver.

Hi vasava,

Are you able to find a good solver for 2 fluids and 1 solid phase?

Hi Nima, No I was not able to solve the problem (with OF2.3).

Since the post there has been newer version of openFoam. I havent had a look at the new OF but you can have a look if the solvers are updated.

Hi,

I intend to solve the same system, two fluid with addition of one solid phase (w/o coalescence).
What is the best approach for doing this?
