Hi Foamers,

I am working on the Waves2foam package, and trying to add an (floating) object inside the geometry of the standingwave case using snappyHexMesh. Then I met a few problems. One problem that I am dealing with is as below.

I want to modify the 'alpha1' file to increase the size of the internalField due to the result of snappyhexMesh, but i have no idea what's the rule for creating an alpha file or if it can be created automatically. Is there anyone who can help? Thanks in advance.

Ellie

Code:
Reading g

Reading waveProperties
Reading field p_rgh

Reading field alpha1

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
size 400000 is not equal to the given value of 1547000

file: /home/fgong/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.1/applications/utilities/waves2Foam/tutorials/waveFoam/motorBikeWavePractice/0/alpha1 from line 18 to line 400556.

It's lucky that I already know what's the problem and solution.
