Hi folks,
I have been looking at different equationsOfState used in chemistry modelling in OpenFOAM (currently working with 2.3.1). All of the solvers and tutorial cases related to chemistry modelling mostly are using PerfectGas eqn. of state, though there are quite a few other classes/models compiled in the code. The ones that are of interest to me are incompressiblePerfectGas and rhoConst eqs. of state. I have looked if any of the tutorial cases use these equations of state and there are a few cases using rhoConst, but no cases using incompressiblePerfectGas. I was wondering if anyone knew an example of the case that would use this model? Also would anyone have experience and could suggest if any of these would work for liquid phase reactions, that would be regarded as incompressible, which is opposite to what is used in gas phase combustion reactions?
