Hi Foamers,

does somebody know how to interpret the matchTolerance in OF21? What ist the unit of the matchTolerance? [m]?
I have an Interface between the impeller and the volute of a centrifugal pump. I'm trying to investigate the effects of changing the matchTolerance.

Interface_1
{
type cyclicAMI;
nFaces 728;
startFace 2733894;
matchTolerance 0.0001;
neighbourPatch Interface_2;
transform noOrdering;
}

I've changed the values (from 1e-1 to 1e-12) but there is no change in my results (e.g. Head vs. Time). Does somebody know where to change this value (except in polyMesh/boundary) or what matchTolerance in OF exactly means?

Thanks in advance!
