How to simulate a heat source with a b.c.?

Hi,
I would like to simulate a heat source as a box in the room. The power is constant (for example, 300W). It seems there are a few boundary conditions in OpenFOAM that can specify the power or heat flux, but the problem of those b.c. is that the surface temperature across the heat source varies heavily. As the heat source is usually made of metal, the temperature across its surface should be approximately uniform. Therefore I am here to ask help. Any advice is welcome. Thank you. |

For example, the boundary condition
'turbulentHeatFluxTemperature' It does specify either the heat flux or the power. However, it cannot guarantee that the temperature across the surface of the heat source is uniform. |
