Hi,
I'm a new user of Openfoam. I want to calculate a compressible case, using either rhoSimple ro rhoPimple. The case runs well while running incompressible case but when I want to run compressible, there is always an error : Different dimensions for = dimensions : [1 -1 -1 0 0 0 0] = [0 2 -1 0 0 0 0] From function dimensionSet:perator=(const dimensionSet&) const in file dimensionSet/dimensionSet.C at line 171. I guess it should be dimension of mu or nu but I cannot fix this, Can anyone plz help me with this. I also have tried to run thermoFoam with one of my incompressible cases, but it was not possible either. N. |

In the incompressible solvers of OpenFOAM the pressure is defined as pressure divided by density. So it has different dimensions. You have to fix your boundary conditions (unit and probably also values) for pressure.
