How can I monitor residuals during calculation

Hi amine,

I am watching residuals using PyFoam.

After you download and install this utility do the following steps to have residuals plotted on the fly:

Step 1. (on the terminal) solver_name > log.solver_name (or any name you want for the log file)
step 2. pyFoamPlotWatcher.py log.solver_name

After that you will see the residuals that are plotted during your simulation.
