I want to do RANS of a flow with time varying inlet velocity profile.
For quick convergence I want to first solve with inlet-velocity specified as fixedvalue Later on I want to switch to time varying velocity profile for inlet-velocity with groovyBCFixedValue The OF official documentation says- the fields are deemed ‘consistent’ if the geometry and the boundary types, or conditions, of both source and target fields are identical Since my Boundary conditions are different that means I can not use consistent. How should I handle this change in BC? |

Can you use consistent and then simply edit the boundary condition manually in the mapped U file? This has worked for me.
Open the U file, ctrl+f 'boundaryField', change the type. |
