Hi to everyone!

I am trying to run the tutorial cylinder, but I am facing some problems. I have looked at other similar threads, but I couldn't find any solution.

When I type blockMesh command I receive the error message which I attached as a screenshot, since I cannot copy and paste from the terminal I am using(I am on windows btw).

I went to etc/controlDict and changed allowSystemOperations from 0 to 1, but still it doesn't work. I have all the tutorials copied into /home/Nicola/OpenFOAM/nikola-2.3.x/run.

However, when I type ./Allrun command, everything seems to work well (except that it doesn't find a line in the code, I attach another screenshot for that too).

Did I set something wrong in the installation (running using root account instead of users)?

Many thanks in advance!

If it's possible try to use Linux version of OpenFOAM. Ubuntu packages are available on the official site (you don't have to build OpenFOAM by yourself). It can help you to skip a lot of errors when you are deeling with OpenFOAM...

Ok, I will install and run OpenFOAM on a Linux version. In the meanwhile, any other tips? Thanks.
