Counter Rotating Propeller in OpenFOAM?

Dear Foamers,

i've been working with AMI for quite a while now, but now i've run into a question i couldn't really resolve by myself: is it possible to have two contra-rotating AMI patches? and if so, how do i define them in the dynamicMeshDict?

I've tried various combinations, leading to one patch to rotate but not both of them at the same time,

thanks in advance,

Josch

You could use multiSolidBodyMotion to define multiple contra-rotating cell zones. I use this to simulate contra-rotating fans.

Regards,

Martin
