Hi,

I'm turning a simulation of a marine propeller with SRFSimpleFoam solver and each time when I launch the calculation, I receive a warning message like this:

Code:
Starting time loop

--> FOAM Warning :
    From function polyBoundaryMesh::patchSet(const wordReList&, const bool, const bool) const
    in file meshes/polyMesh/polyBoundaryMesh/polyBoundaryMesh.C at line 815
    Cannot find any patch or group names matching blade1,
--> FOAM Warning :
    From function polyBoundaryMesh::patchSet(const wordReList&, const bool, const bool) const
    in file meshes/polyMesh/polyBoundaryMesh/polyBoundaryMesh.C at line 815
    Cannot find any patch or group names matching blade2,
--> FOAM Warning :
    From function polyBoundaryMesh::patchSet(const wordReList&, const bool, const bool) const
    in file meshes/polyMesh/polyBoundaryMesh/polyBoundaryMesh.C at line 815
    Cannot find any patch or group names matching blade3,

Time = 1
......
The mesh I have created in starCCM+ and imported using ccm26tofoam and I have checked the boundary conditions no single blade is missed.

After that the calculation starts to run but at the end of several iterations, the continuity errors explose and the simulation stops.

Does anyone have the same experience than I do?

Quick answer: My guess is that the patches are actually named "Blade1", "Blade2" and so on.
If you want a more accurate answer, then please provide more information: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-get-help.html
