Dear All
I'm new in openFoam. At this moment i'm trying to simulate a vertical turbine using AMI and pimpleDyMFoam. I'm running my case successfully but there is something bothering me from the log file which I found there was no solving for any velocity (Ux and Uy) in all iteration. I think the velocity is supposed to be calculated and mentioned in the log file, isn't it?. Does it mean my simulation is not calculating any velocity? How to solve this issue? Any help will be appreciated. Hi James
I still cant figure out what exact problem that cause the issue. I suspect it was because the mesh. What is your case? Anyone, Is there any clue for us? |

Thanks for prompt reply.
I am running reactingFoam under OpenFOAM-2.0.0. May be that's the issue. The results of simulation are fine, but just wondering why the convergence stuff for Ux and Uy don't show up! |

Hi James!
When u solve momentum predictor, openfoam will solve Ueqn(). But if not, it will not solve Ueqn(). By default, some cases this is switched off. No wonder there is no iterations about U. lol
