ashghan New Member ashwin Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: erlangen Posts: 26 Rep Power: 13	Hello Everybody, I have created a new boundary condition modifying an existing boundary condition in openFOAM. The boundary works well when I run a simulation on serial. But it crashes giving an error when I run in parallel. The boundary condition which I modified is 'atmBoundaryLayerInletVelocity'. In this BC i have added a variable named var. When I run the simulation in parallel I get the following error : Code: keyword var is undefined in dictionary "/home/Desktop/allumströmungcases/wien_north/processor3/0/U.boundaryField.North" However it runs smoothly when I run it in serial. Does anyone have an idea why its happening? Looking forward to hear from you guys. Ashwin
