Dear Foamers,

I have one rapid question.
I am currently simulating with chtMultiRegionFoam and the case I'm currently running I know that needs about 2 hours of real time to converge because that is what it takes in the actually experiment.

Upon simulationg in OpenFOAM, the largest time step I could put in oirder to ron smoothly is 0.1s and the simulation runs about 1 minute of simulation for an hour in real time.

There is a way to get faster in order to reach the 1 - 2 hours of simulated time in less than one day in real life?
Do you need more info like codes?

Thank you very much.

Hello sergi,

Can you show the mesh? It very hard to help with the little information you provided. Go through this thread -----> How to give enough info to get help

The most obvious solution is to use a very simple model which doesn't capture all the physics involved.

Another way is to run the simulation on multiple cores. This might speed up the computation a bit. However, it depends on the inter-dependency of the domain.

Thanks,
Pru.
