Multiphase flow

Hi All,

i need help in understanding the boundary conditions for Multiphase flow.

Thank you,

Multiphase flow

Hi,
I am trying to perform twophaseEulerFoam simulation on a simple geometry. i need help in setting up the boundary condition in the 'o' folder for pressure and velocity at the inlet, walls, outlet.

Appreciate it!

Hi,

please be more specific. It's impossible to provide sane boundary conditions without knowing the problem you're trying to solve (which phase, velocities, geometry, mesh). Please have a look at http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-get-help.html.

Did you study the tutorial cases? You jump to the twoPhaseEulerFoam tutorial cases using the following command within the shell (assuming a working OF installation):

Code:

foamTuts && cd multiphase/twoPhaseEulerFoam/

Sorry for any inconvenience. I have attached a picture of my example. i have two inlets, one outlet and walls. I am trying to understand what kinda code should i have for boundary conditions to run the simulation ( e.g to have flow coming from two inlets and leaving from one outlet.). if you can provide with a brief explanation about the boundary conditions functions that would be awesome.
Thank you,
Moe,

for Meshing, the group of faces which i have are: { Inlet1, Inlet2, Outlet, Wall}

Hello mahehab2,

I met the same problem with the setting for the boundary condition.
It looks like your case.
Did you solve this problem?
maybe you can give some tips for the boundary condition
