Hello all,

I have a case of a mixer and I want to accelerate the rotation of the blades with a moving mesh in interDyMFoam.

Normally I would give the value for the rotational speed omega, e.g. 10 rpm, in the dynamicMeshDict and when I start the simulation, the mixer will start to rotate at 10 rpm.

Is it possible to accelerate the rotation by a given function, e.g. a sinus-function from -pi/2 to pi/2 ? so that omega starts at 0 rmp and is slowly build up to 10 rpm over some timesteps?

Thanks for help!
