Hi dear foamers,
I want to use mixture multiphase model for my case which is solid particles in liquid.
As I noticed there is no mixture solver in openfoam. But there are other multiphase solvers such as interFoam or twoPhaseEulerFoam.
Which one do you suggest me to start with? And what modifications are needed?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hello Hossein,

You can find a specific type of mixture model in settlingFoam solver,But in

settlingFoam solver instead of using drag models for drift velocity use from

experimental curves.for your case my suggestion is two phaseEulerFoam and

Mixture model.

what about one phase mixture model.in my case there is bubble plume in the quiescent water that rising with their buoyancy force. so which solver is the best for this situation?
