Effect of Wall Roughness in Low-Turbulence simulations?

Hi there,

I have been reading how to simulate a Low-Reynolds flow, and I still do not understand how to take into account wall roughness into the simulations.

We can avoid using wall-functions (if the mesh is properly created and the y+ values are correct.) or we can use specific Low-Reynolds wall-functions, but there is not any specific value to take into account wall roughness in both cases (for example, I would get the same results for glass or wood at the bottom).

For High-Reynolds is clear I think, as there is a wall-function where equivalent sand-roughness appears.

Thanks for your time,
Any help will be appreciated.
