what is the correct y+ for SST k-omega with default kqQwallfunction/omegawallfunction
Dear Foamers,
I am a little bit confused about how to choose the correct yplus for SST k-omega, Some people insist on y+<=1, but some people(references) suggest(use) 300>y+>30. My current model is a submerged body closed to free surface under constant water current speed (Re=280000). Type kqRwallfunction/omegawallfunction are used for model k and omega boundary and the y+ value at the moment without added layers are: Code:
y+ : min: 1.95390971 max: 233.585105 average: 38.0527751 Regards, Yage |
Quick answer: Google:
