Hey all!

The case:

I have a simple test case which basically consists of a simple 2D mesh represented by two cubes.

The moving wall shall move either in prescribed manner or according to the flow. The pressure at the inlet varies over time. There might be an additional outlet on the left boundary of the top block.

My solution:

So far I have used the displacementLaplacian motion solver which worked quite well. Unfortunately I need to control the location of the displacement. I have tested the following Options:

use the frozenPointsZone to prevent a specified area from moving
use file motionDiffusivity which did not work at all
use the displacementLayeredMotion solver and define several zones

The summary of my efforts was quite unsatisfactory.

Finally I ended up using the six DoF solver instead of the laplacian though I am still unable to control the mesh motion in the desired way.

The question:

Does anyone has a working case setup for the motionDiffusivity File or layered Displacement ? Or did anyone managed to implement a more advanced diffusivity control into the six DoF solver?

Thank you for reading and I am looking forward reading your response. I could provide the test case if it would be helpful. Please let me know.

Dear Audrius,

Did you solve your problem?
I have got similar problem with dynamic mesh and your advice could be really helpfull for me.

Thank you in advance
Wojcech
