Hi All,
This seems to be a problem a few people have had without any real explanation. I am trying to create a simple turbulent flow down a pipe using a K-epsilon model. I have used all of the inputs/outputs to the chtmultiregion heater part air with the top of the pipe being the inlet. I cannot seem to understand why after time step 20 the solver starts to cause issues and eventually the maximum number of iterations become exceeded. I have noticed shortening the pipe has increased the amount of acceptable time steps and relaxing h when using this case in a heat transfer equation as suggested in another post. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this issue has plagued me for a good month now. Cheers, Seddon |
