Viscoelastic Solver
Hi friends
I've just learnt the openFoam. I solved a special problem with a newtonian fluid(water). Now, I want to solve it with a viscoelastic fluid by Oldroyd-B model. Could you please help me to do it step by step? (you know, I don't know any thing about it!) Thanks every body |
Hi,
You can look to the viscosity models already in OpenFOAM, in: ..your openfoam directory.../src/transportModels/incompressible/viscosityModels In a shell, you can find them by typing: /src/transportModels/incompressible/viscosityModels Now, based on your needs you can create your new viscosity model similarly as a new library. If difficult for you, you can also try simply at the Top-level code (directly in the openfoam solver files .H & .C) Good Luck ! regards, T.D. |
Thank you my friend

vortex in 3D channel
Hello
How can I form a vortex in a square-shaped channel? Or how can I see vortices? In all the papers, a vortex pair is seen at the corners of the channel with the Giesekus model. How can this be modeled with open foam? what is the properties flow ? B.C ? please help me? my Email: farhadhoseinbor@gmail.com Telegram id: @bfzah |
