Dear OpenFoam users,
I have a simple (but a bit confusing me ) purpose to study different approaches for wall distance computations, typically used in turbulence computations, but I have no idea where in Openfoam I have to start to compute or plot it. Can it be computed without running RANS or LES model? As far as I know there are three options to compute the wall distance in OpenFoam: using meshWave, Poisson or Eikonal euqation. The later one is of my interest. Could anyone guide me with this please? Thanks, Dmitry |

Yes, it is called DNS.

Well, sure, but seriously speaking I need to test the wall distance without running any NS solver.
