I am trying to solve compressible flow over a sphere. There are two spheres. One defining the domain and the other the object in the flow field. The smaller sphere has a wall boundary condition. Now the outer sphere: How do I set the boundary for this sphere. I tried using inletOutlet. But the run crashes. Since it is a hyperbolic problem there should be a boundary condition that sets a value based on direction right?

Am I missing something here?

Thank you
Prapanj

hi, prapanj.
I am not familar with compressible flow, i searched the fluent's User's Guide(version 6.3 )and found that "7.9 Pressure Far-Field Boundary Conditions" may be helpful.
