does anyone could tell me what is the definition of residual in OpenFOAM?what is the relation between residual of OpenFOAM and fluent,CFX?

Hello Zhang,

If I remember well, in the Programmer's Guide, there is the definition of residual in OpenFOAM. Please check it by yourself.
